Deliver reports to channels
Once a chat platform is connected, GoPie can deliver reports to a channel or space, so the people who need them see them where they already work — not only in their inbox. A short "report ready" message links straight to the full report in GoPie.
NoteDelivering to a channel is in addition to, not instead of, email delivery. You can send a report to a channel, to email recipients, or both.
Before you start#
- The chat platform must be connected to your organisation. See Slack, Microsoft Teams or Google Chat.
- GoPie must be present in the destination — add the GoPie app to the channel or space you want to deliver to. GoPie can only post where it has been added.
Choose a chat destination#
You set a report's delivery when you schedule it, or when you send one on demand — the same place you'd add email recipients. Pick a connected workspace and the channel or space to post to, and GoPie delivers the report there each time it runs.
Managing report schedules and recipients is covered in the Reports section; this page covers only the chat destination.
Per-platform notes#
Slack
Deliver to any channel the GoPie app has been added to. Add the app to a private channel first if you're routing there — GoPie can't post to a channel it isn't a member of.
Microsoft Teams
Deliver to a channel in a team where the GoPie app is installed. If a channel isn't available as a destination, confirm the app is installed for that team.
Google Chat
Deliver to a space the GoPie app has been added to. Add GoPie to the space before selecting it as a destination.
TipRoute each report to the channel whose members actually own it — a weekly revenue report to the revenue channel, a pipeline report to the sales space — so the "report ready" nudge lands with the right people.
