Is GoPie really free to self-host?
Yes. GoPie Core is open source under AGPL-3.0, so you can spin it up locally or in your cloud with docker-compose or a Helm chart. You pay nothing to run it yourself.
What does a paid plan cover?
The managed platform: hosting, scaling, upgrades and support, plus help onboarding your datasets and documents. Pricing depends on seats and data volume, which is why we ask about your requirement first.
What counts as a project?
A project holds related datasets and context documents. For example, everything about water security in one place. Chat, dashboards and reports work at the project level or per dataset.
What file types can I upload?
Structured data as CSV, Excel or Parquet, from your machine, Google Drive, OneDrive, object storage, or databases like Postgres and MySQL. Context as PDF, Word documents or plain notes.
Do I need to know SQL?
No. Everything works in plain language. If you do know SQL, every dataset also gets its own SQL playground and API endpoint. They are there when you want them.
